Where to buy quinoa, coconut flour, and raw grass-fed butter in Metro Manila / the Philippines
8/30/2014I get a lot of inquiries about where to buy these healthy foods:
Quinoa
Quinoa is a high-protein, nutritious, gluten-free grain that you can use like rice. You can order quinoa from The Healthy Grocery or The Superfood Grocer. You may also find it at Healthy Options or S&R.Amaranth
If you like quinoa, you may also want to try amaranth. Like quinoa, amaranth is a nutrient-dense rice substitute. Its grains are smaller than quinoa's, and it's also less expensive. You can buy amaranth at The Healthy Grocery.Coconut Flour
Coconut flour is a high-protein, high-fiber, gluten-free flour that you can use instead of regular wheat flour. You can order coconut flour from Holy Carabao or Down To Earth. You may also find it at Down To Earth's store in Makati.Raw Grass-Fed Butter
Raw grass-fed butter tends to contain more omega-3, vitamin K2, and vitamin A, compared to regular butter. You can order raw grass-fed local butter from Down To Earth. For pasteurized grass-fed imported butter, you can just buy Anchor brand butter which is available in most supermarkets.Looking for something else?
